Usage Errors

Sometimes Nihon may encounter problems getting started. This post discusses ways you can fix these issues.

Common Fixes

Time Synchronisation

If your time is out of sync, or altogether incorrect, you may get a messagebox pop up telling you to fix this.

In order to resolve this, please:
1. Open Windows Settings
2. Head to "Time & language"
3. Head to "Date & time"
4. Enable "set time automatically" if it is not already enabled.
5. Under "Additional settings", press "Sync now".

Then re-launch Nihon. If you're having general issues, doing this is worth giving a shot!

Injection Errors

Nihon has to set itself up internally before allowing you to run your scripts. In doing so, it may have a few issues.

  1. BloxStrap (or equivalent custom launchers) sometimes have issues. Try to temporarily disable it and then try to launch Nihon.
  2. Simply re-install Nihon. Run the original installer (in the same location as Nihon itself) and then re-try.
  3. Ensure your anti-virus is not inteferring with Nihon.
  4. If all fails, please contact our support team via our Discord server.

I forgot my password!

You can reset it easily, head to the login page and request for a password reset. If you're struggling, you are free to contact our support team via our Discord server or shoot us an email.

I'm on a new computer!

Please head to the "New Computer" section.

Sometimes Nihon may have an unexpected issue. Nothing is perfect!
